Who we are

Quotes

All quotes are free and carry no obligation. There is no call-out charge for a quote anywhere in our coverage area.

A quote is valid for 30 days from the date given, and is based on what could be seen at the survey. Where something cannot be inspected until work begins, such as roof timbers under an existing covering or the deck beneath a flat roof, we will say so in the quote and give you the rate for any additional work before it is carried out. We will not carry out extra work without telling you first.

Prices and payment

The price quoted is the price you pay, unless you ask for additional work or something genuinely unforeseeable is found, in which case we will stop and agree it with you before continuing.

Payment terms are agreed at quote stage. Larger jobs may require a deposit towards materials. Final payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Our guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for ten years from the date of completion. If something we have done fails within that period, we will come back and put it right at no cost.

The guarantee covers our workmanship. It does not cover materials, which are covered by the manufacturer own warranty, nor does it cover storm damage, accidental damage, damage caused by third parties, or a failure in a part of the property we did not work on.

Insurance

We hold public liability insurance. A copy of the certificate is available on request and we are happy to provide it before work starts.

Access and safety

We will need safe access to the property and, for most roof work, space to erect scaffold or position a tower. Where access is restricted we will discuss it with you at quote stage.

Please keep children and pets away from the working area while we are on site.

Cancellation

You can cancel a booked job at any time before work begins. If materials have already been ordered specifically for your job we may ask you to cover those costs.

Where a contract is agreed at your home, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for work already carried out.

Weather

Roofing is weather dependent. We may need to move a booking at short notice if conditions make the work unsafe or would compromise quality. We will always tell you as early as we can.
